Greeter/Connect

The greeting/connect ministry is designed to help all who walk in the doors (or on the grounds) of the church to feel recognized and welcome to be there and to help them become as connected to Denia Community Church as they choose.

For more information about the Greeter / Connect ministry at Denia Community Church please contact Jud or Pat Sherman. They both were born and grew up in Denton and graduated from Denton High.  Other than 4 years in Lubbock, Texas (both are alumni of Texas Tech University) and another 4+ years immediately after, they have lived in Denton County their entire lives.  They were married in 1975 and are parents of 3 grown and married children and Nana & Pop to six of the cutest grandchildren around. Jud is a Civil Engineer and works in construction materials testing at D&S Engineering Labs in Denton.  Pat works in Community Relations at DATCU Credit Union representing the credit union in schools, workplaces and a number of non-profits in Denton County.

Middle School

At Denia, we are a community church called to love God, one another, and others. This is the guiding principle of the middle school ministry. We want to regularly spend time with the students building relationships and pursuing the Lord together. We meet every Wednesday at the church from 6:30-8:00 to play games, laugh, and dive into scripture in a truthful and relatable way to middle school students during a confusing and challenging time of growing up. During these crucial years my wife and I are very excited to be an older sister and brother to the students. Please reach out to Nathan and Calley Buford for details and to get further connected to the Middle school Ministry.

Music

The DCC music ministry helps God's people at DCC praise him together in song from the heart. We desire to highly exalt the Lord, according to his word, so that the truth would dwell in us richly for His glory and our good (Col. 3.16; Eph. 5.15-21; Ps. 30.4-5).

For more information about the Music ministry at Denia Community Church please contact Zach Ripple. Zach was born and raised in North Texas and has two daughters. He loves listening to music and creating it with drums and guitar.
