ABOUT US

Loving God, One Another, and Others.

Denia Community Church is committed to the Bible’s three great love commandments: loving God wholeheartedly, loving our neighbors selflessly, and loving one another sacrificially.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38  This is the great and foremost commandment. 39  The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40  On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” ~ Matthew 22:37–40

34  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35  By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” ~ John 13:34–35

Why we are here

Denia Community Church exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit who love God, one another, and others.

A disciple is a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, someone who has repented of their sins, embraced Jesus Christ as their Savior, and is now committed to following the message, mandates, model, and mission of their Lord. Christ’s disciples believe what Jesus teaches, obey what He commands, imitate His example, and fulfill His great commission by making other disciples who do the same.

Because Jesus taught, commanded, and modeled love for God, His followers, and others, His disciples do the same and help others do likewise. So Denia Community Church exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God wholeheartedly, one another sacrificially, and our neighbors selflessly.
